This was beautiful David...... as for me I have noticed rainbows off and on when I am on the road... BUT I have to say that when I do notice them .. I go way back to my growing up days in India... specially the times when I was a teenager and spent some 3 years on the Islands :( Andaman and Nicobar Islands) .. those were the rainbows I will never forget....!....
I could drive forever .. if there was no GPS in my car...

Great article David. Very well written, as always, and a very nice tribute to Uncle Bob. I'm sure he is proud of you, in his "Uncle Bob" way. See you Friday.

Absolutely! It applies to every facet of life. If you work with a persons strengths, they will excel and become the best they can be over their lifetime. If you always focus on their weeknesses, trying to make them better and fit where you need them, they will only ever be mediocre. This is the doctrine behind the tool StrengthsQuest from Gallup. Its a great tool in business, education, family, etc.

Well said, David! I feel that the award was well deserved. Obama does have the ability to draw crowds which does allow him to convey his thoughts. Most world leaders can't even manage that.

Secondly, yes, we do have to wait and see and what the outcome of his efforts are going to be but he gets full marks for playing the "game" 100%.

Winston Churchill lives within me. I "never give in..." at least not without a fight. I lived in the Philadelphia area for many years and loved the Rocky theme. Today my fight theme sound might be Pink and "I'm a rock star". I'm not a rock star but I do have the same energy and determination not to give in and although I don't look for a fight I am willing to live by Churchill's mantra.
Thank you for the reminder that I may need to have those peps talks to be sure that we are all on the same page since I know we are all on the same team!

I agree!! Though I would even agree with two terms like the president.

I would also like to see caps on the amount of spending they can do in elections to even out the playing field and not the one that had the most money to throw at it wins. And only donations from individuals not companies or organizations. And a limit on the amount of donation made to each candidate.

Thanks,
